By establishing relationships with other Senior Housing Advisors across the country, you are better able to help your clients if they are looking to move outside of your market, thus providing more value. Having access to a national network of similar like-minded advisors like yourself, you also have the potential a greater revenue stream and can share best practices with your colleagues.

How do I access the Advisor Directory?

You must be a NNSHA member to access the profiles.

How many Senior Housing Advisors will be approved in each city?

Exclusivity in your market is a key benefit of membership.  As a member, you are able to specify three cities of your primary focus and be the main resource in those cities. For large metropolitan cities, it might be necessary to add more.. Prior to applying, please contact NNSHA to determine if your area is still available.

What do we do if our city is already taken?

Members are approved on a first come basis, therefore it is to your advantage to join early. Should a NNSHA member already be listed in your area, we will contact this advisor to see if they would be agreeable to allowing another member.

Are only Senior Housing Advisors allowed to join?

Yes. The purpose of NNSHA is to unite Senior Housing Advisors across the country.

Does the NNSHA get paid any percentage for the referral?

Absolutely not!   The arrangement you make with another advisor is solely between the both of you.  

What are the qualifications of the Senior Housing Advisors in the network?

To be accepted to NNSHA, we expect each member to have high ethical standards, be in good standing in their local community and are committed in serving the needs of seniors and their families.

Do we need any special certification to become a member?

No, however depending on your market, it might be beneficial.

Will internet-based search providers be permitted to join?

Absolutely not. This network is for local independently-owned “boots on the ground” Senior Housing Advisors who have firsthand knowledge of the senior living communities in their area.

We are part of a senior housing placement franchise. Should we still join?

Yes. There are many other markets your franchise does not serve. Be being a NNSHA member, you are expanding your market.

Will there be opportunities to network with the members to share best practices?

Most definitely.  There is much to learn from each other and we will facilitate these opportunities. Helping us grow our businesses is a fundamental principle of this organization.
